Reserve your date
A $75 non-refundable retainer secures your session and counts toward the total. The remaining balance is due on or before your session. Applicable sales tax and any agreed fees are added to the listed price.

Your private proof gallery arrives within 2–3 business days. Select your included images, then receive your final retouched downloads within 7–10 business days of your selections.

One complimentary reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. If weather prevents an outdoor session, we’ll arrange another date at no extra charge.

I’m Danny Melgarejo, the photographer behind Media Concepts in La Crosse. I create portraits and headshots with attention to light, expression, and the details that make you you.
We’ll talk about what you need, find the right setting, and work through the session together. My job is to give you direction so you can settle in and be yourself.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION
A few good
questions.
What should I wear?
Choose clothing that fits well and feels like you. Solid colors photograph well. Signature portraits include up to two outfits; headshots include one. Outfit changes count toward your booked time.
What if I’m uncomfortable in front of a camera?
No experience needed. I’ll guide your posing, angles, and expression throughout the session. We’ll discuss your goals and setting before we begin.
What does professional retouching include?
Color and exposure refinement, natural skin retouching, and removal of temporary blemishes. Extensive object removal, compositing, or other major alterations are quoted separately before work begins.
How do I choose and receive my photographs?
Your private proof gallery arrives within 2–3 business days. Choose 10 images for Signature Portraits or 3 for Professional Headshots. Final retouched images arrive within 7–10 business days after your selections. Proofs are for selection; included downloads are the finished images. Your delivery email will state the gallery expiration date—please download and back up your files.
Can I print my photos and use headshots for work?
Personal printing rights are included for your finished images; physical prints are not included. Headshots include professional promotional use on LinkedIn, company websites, and press profiles. Commercial advertising campaigns, resale, and third-party redistribution require a separate written agreement and quote.
Where can my session take place?
Sessions are based in La Crosse. Choose a studio or outdoor setting for portraits, or a studio or local business setting for headshots. We’ll confirm the location, any travel charges, and any venue or permit fees before booking.
What if I need to reschedule or the weather is bad?
One complimentary reschedule is included with at least 48 hours’ notice. Additional or last-minute reschedules carry a $50 fee. Weather-related changes for outdoor sessions are complimentary and do not use your included reschedule.
What if I arrive late or miss my session?
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. Arriving late reduces the photography time available. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may require rescheduling and a new retainer. No-shows forfeit the retainer, and a new retainer is required to rebook.
How many people and locations are included?
Signature Portraits include up to five people and one location. Additional people are $20 each. Professional Headshots are for one person. A nearby additional location is $50, with travel and shooting within your scheduled session time. Ask for a custom quote if you need a longer session or team headshots.
